Montana Fishing Trips
Montana abounds with great fishing opportunities. The Flathead bordering Glacier National Park offer native cutthroat, rainbow and brook trout. The Smith River offers exceptional brown trout fishing. There are also several ways to try your hand at Montana fishing: using fishing dories, McKenzie style drift boats, and wading are the methods of choice.
Because of the need to protect Montana fisheries, most guides we are strong believers in catch-and-release fishing.
River fishing requires a Montana state fishing license. A two-day non-resident license costs $25 (includes MT Conservation and State Lands Lis) $15 for an additional 2 day license. Licenses are available online and at most Sporting Good stores in and around the Flathead Valley and West Glacier.
